[ Seto's face falls. How can he not remember...how....

He digs into his pocket for one last chance. One last...if this doesn't shake a memory loose, he's fairly sure nothing will. Heart of the cards, right....?

Monster Reborn is held up, pinched between his fingers. ]

You gave this to me once. You said I needed to let go and not try to resurrect what was dead and gone. But you're not gone, the asshole in charge of this place has just tried to keep you in the dark!

[ He offers the card, face solemn, eyes begging him to remember. ]

[There seemed to be a hint of remembrance this time as Yugi lightly placed a hand on his head. But it was only for the briefest of moments. He could recall something like that, a brief memory.

He shook his head as if he was trying to shake it away, but the more he thought about it, the more memories flickered by now and again. He felt like he could honestly drown with the way they did, but of course he wasn't in any area of water.

It seemed like he had been quiet for a good while, hand to his head once again before he glanced over.]

[ Seto worried about that headache. Yes, he wanted his Yugi back, but he didn't want him to be in pain...

He reached out a hand to grasp his elbow. ]

You back? I had a colossal headache when I woke up.

[ Soft. Hopeful. ]

[He could still remember those memories but at least he is starting to be able to tell the true ones with the fake ones.]
